NOMOREMOLLYWTF has made himself known over the last year in numerous ways, but most prominently due to his gritty sound unlike any of his contemporaries. The Florida native sat down with us to give us some insight on his mind and what has made him who he is today.

Where are you from and how old are you?

Gang gang gang, I’m from hell… 300.

Most of us have definitely been there once or twice, by hell do you mean Florida? Or the surrounding areas?

Earth, really. But yeah, Florida. And Virginia, too. My parents moved to this shit hole when I was 2 and we’ve been bouncing back and forth between the two states for as long as I can remember. Before I even knew what a pussy was.

What’s the south been like for you? Tell me a little about your early days moving back and forth.

Shit, if I could explain it in one word it would be Torture. In Virginia, motherfuckers racist as fuck. Driving they daddy pickup truck. Chewing tobacco and shit. In Florida, the racial tension is noticeably lower. I’ll rob a house with my white friends, shit just be different. Everybody hate everybody. It really doesn’t matter when it comes to your skin.

Your music has an interesting sound that I can’t really put a finger on, who were some of the early artists you were listening to growing up?

My mom used to blast Jennifer Lopez and Michael Jackson through the house everyday after she got back from her job and shit. But when I got a little older, I was fucking with own shit. Chief Keef, Korn, Tommy Lee Sparta just to name a few.

When did you start actually recording and making your own music?

I was probably like 12 or 13. I I made a song about my bum ass teacher, but I only showed my really close friends. Just freestyling because I wanted to be as good as the bigger kids in the neighborhood. They never need a notepad or a pen and I fell in love with that shit. I just I had this feeling in my nut suck you know? In my heart or something. I wanted to do it too, I felt like I already knew how to do that.

At what point did you decide you kinda wanted to take it seriously and release music on your own?

I ended up living with this nigga named Cortez. I met him when he got stranded at Rolling Loud in 2018. One day my landlord came to the crib in North Miami Beach unannounced, and he was complaining like a hoe because he kept smelling the gas this nigga Cortez was smoking, something about “it was seeping through the vents” or some dumb shit like that. It was a shared home, other tenants kept snitching us out. No pop filter, USB mic, and a laptop. Waited until he stopped crying, and left the crib. I just made that shit on a laptop that wasn’t even mines, it was my old engineer’s. 3 of us living in 1 small room. Shit sucked, but fuck it. The rest is history.

How did you choose your alias? That’s such a rare name and always sticks to anyone who sees it.

My brother died because of something that he chose to do while he was under the influence. I had to kill someone that didn’t deserve to be glorified anymore. Around that same time, my plug who I choose not to name for obvious reasons had his house raided by Homeland Security. Good guy, kids and wife. He wasn’t harming anyone and I hated that he had to suffer the consequences created by a system run by hypocrites. All he did was sell MDMA. Pure too, tested and all. Not that cut shit these dumb fucks are taking now.

What’s your recording process like? How long does it usually take you to make a song?

Shit, 5 minutes or less. But if it’s something of a transparent nature, I will take 10 or 15 minutes. Nostrils loaded and hit record, I don’t think about it. Mixing and Mastering it takes 2-3 hours, I hate that process but I would rather go through the bullshit than rely on some fuck face who throws reverb and compression and calls it a track. But I learned how to do Engineer my own shit from analyzing my old music and understanding how sound works. My old Engineer is no longer with us physically  because some drunk fuck face ran him over while he tried to save someone’s life on a highway. He had the brain for this shit, believe me, that was in his code. I’ll never be as good as him. But I was still able to pick up a thing or two he left me with. My favorite thing he did was when EQ’d the beat in specific portions of a song and he would always find the most precise time to drop that hoe back in. RIP Kilo1217.

What are some of your favorite songs you’ve been apart of or released so far?

Favorite things… honestly, absolutely nothing. This underground scene is contaminated with clout chasing dick faced parrots, ready to emulate your sound, and put their own name on it. But I love making music more than I love cocaine. The politics have never sat well with me.

Any last words or words of motivation you wanted to put out there?

Fuck Donald Trump. Deport my nutsack. Oh, And Nancy Grace is a hoe. Fuck CNN.
